Universal Monster Loop

A loop animation of Universal Studios' Monsters, in chronological order, created for LoopDeLoop's December/January theme, Hollywood, which you can go and vote on RIGHT NOW!

   

In order: Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, The Mummy, The Bride, The Wolfman, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and The Thing.

The Thing

Poster for a hypothetical 60s version of The Thing; my final for my Horror Film history class.

Wanted to base the design on the '3 red eyes and worm-like hair' description from John W. Campbell's original Who Goes There? short story, with some inspiration from Roger Corman's Tomb of Ligeia poster.

All brushed ink (minus the 'who goes there' text), scanned into Photoshop, 11" x 16".

The Things
